Postdoctoral positions on Computer Science

 
Two-year postdoctoral positions are available in the Computer Sciences Group, at the Faculty of Sciences (http://ciencias.uabc.ens.mx), at the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC).

We look for candidates with a doctoral degree on Computer Sciences and strong commitment to undergraduate education and research. She/he may start to teach in English but should be willing to teach in Spanish in a reasonable time frame.

Recent PhD graduates are preferred with knowledge in any of the following areas: software engineering, middleware, information systems, ubiquitous computing, human--computer interaction, robotics and haptic interfaces, haptic rendering.

Review of applications will begin on February 2013 and continue until the position is filled. The initial appointment is for one year, renewable for one more year subject to satisfactory performance. The selected candidates will be expected to take-up his/her post as soon as possible.
